New Server and more changes

January found us moving to a new server. This enabled us to add a SSL cert and a merchants account. We selected Authorize.net as our payment gateway, as they are a well known and trusted payment gateway. This means you have another option to PayPal when checking out. You can pay with a PayPal account, credit card through either PayPal or Authorize.net, or Money Order. Authorize.net checkout is very quick and your card info is not stored on our server regardless of which you use.

We also have changed our shipping rates to better reflect the size of order. In the past we had a flat rate of $8.99. Some of you let us know that it was too much for a small order, so we stepped the rates. The lowest rate now is $6.99 and is relative to the total amount of the order. Also we now offer 2nd Day Air in the lower 48.

I'm sure I am forgetting a few things, but that is a quick update.

Happy Holidays!

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and are ready to enjoy the Christmas season! Let's not forget the true meaning of Christmas amongst all the holiday hoopla.

We finally have a great selection of compound strings and cables. We now offer Winners Choice, and Mathew's Zebra and Barracuda Strings in the most popular lengths.

And we have added Alpen to our optic line. I'm excited about the Alpen's because they offer high dollar quality at a decent price.

I hope you are all enjoying venison sausage as I have been!

2006 Brownings and Alpines

I hope bowhunting went well for everyone! I didn't have much time to get out this year...only five evenings. Pretty pathetic considering I was out seventeen times last year. Five evenings isn't much, but I did take a small buck the evening before gun season started. It was the first thing that gave me shot this fall and I took it. Not too long after that a 4x hung out under my tree for about 20 minutes. I drew on him twice to see if I could. I guess that is how it goes, but anything taken with a string and stick is worth being proud of in my book. Plus he will put some venison in my freezer.

The 2006 Alpines and 2006 Brownings are now in stock. Other manufactures will follow in the coming months.

Also, soon we will be moving to a new server and adding a payment option other than PayPal. A lot of people have been requesting this, and we are going to go ahead with an independant credit card processing company using Authorize.net as a payment gateway.

Thanks for a great fall!

Bowhunting Season is Here!

First of all, our thoughts and prayers go out to those affected by hurricane Katrina.

Can you believe the season is here? It seems like forever since last fall but it is time to get out there. Jerry completed a week and a half of elk bowhunting in Colorado, with one member of his party taking a nice 5x5. I have not made it out yet but that is ok as the mosquitos are still out in force.

We are working on plans to upgrade and update the Shoppe. Stay tuned for details.

Gear up for Fall

Crossbows have been added to our archery lineup including bolts, cocking aids and other accessories. Tenpoint, Barnett, Horton and Excalibur lines give us the top crossbow manufactures.

We have also added quite a few treestand in the climbing, hang-on and ladder stand types. Now is the time to get the broadheads, scents and scent-killers.

I hope you are enjoying your summer and shooting straight!

Wraps are now an option

We've added the ability to select an arrow wrap to have installed as you create your customized arrows. Also you will find string building materials from BCY and Brownell.

Quite a few new recurves have been added giving us the largest selection we have had yet, along with more recurve cases including some nice economical soft sided takedown cases.

We have grown to almost 1,000 products and we have our customers to thank for that. Use the search utility to find a product if it seems to have moved on you.

Enjoy what's left of spring!
